Drywall patch × 2, texture match
Dobson Ranch, Mesa
Rudy Vega. One man, one truck, 17 years fixing homes in Mesa, Gilbert, and the east Valley.
Drywall holes, wobbly ceiling fans, running toilets, doors that stick, gates that sag. The small stuff other outfits won't drive out for. I show up when I say I will, do the work, and leave you a written price before I start.
MON–FRI 7AM–5PM · TEXT IS FINE TOO
Doorknob holes, water-stain patches, cracked corners. I match the texture so you can't find the spot after paint.
Swap-outs, new installs on existing wiring, wobble and rattle fixes. I'll tell you if the fan you bought is junk before it goes up.
Drips, running tanks, fill valves, wax rings, new fixture installs. Mesa's hard water kills valves; I keep the common parts on the truck.
Sticking doors, sagging hinges, deadbolts, strike plates, weatherstripping before summer hits.
Sagging gates, latch and hinge swaps, leaning fence sections, block-wall gate posts. The desert sun eats latches; I know which ones last.
Outlets, switches, light fixtures, garbage disposals, angle stops, supply lines. Small fixes only; anything past that gets a licensed referral.
Bring me the whole list. Five or six small jobs in one visit beats five separate service calls, and I price it that way.
NOT ON THE LIST? CALL AND ASK. IF I CAN'T DO IT, I'LL SAY SO AND GIVE YOU A NAME WHO CAN.
I work out of Dobson Ranch in Mesa and keep my jobs east of the 101. That's on purpose. Tight routes mean I'm not burning your money sitting on the 60, and when I say "between 8 and 9," I'm there between 8 and 9.
Queen Creek and San Tan Valley: case by case. Call me and we'll see if it fits the week's route.

Those are real numbers from recent tickets, not a menu. Your price depends on what I find when I open the wall or pull the fixture, but you get it in writing before I start, and it doesn't change unless the job does.
Arizona lets handymen do jobs under $1,000 (labor and materials together) without a contractor's license. That's exactly the work I do, and I stay under that line on purpose. If your job is bigger, I'll tell you up front and hand you the number of a licensed ROC contractor I'd let work on my own house.
I carry general liability insurance for every job. Want the certificate before I set foot in the house? Ask when you call and it's in your inbox the same day.
"Fixed my gate latch same day I called, $85 like he quoted. Showed up at 8 when he said 8."
Denise, Mesa
"Two doorknob holes in the drywall from the kids. He patched and matched the texture and after paint I honestly can't find them."
Marcus, Gilbert
"Told me the fan I'd bought was going to rattle, returned it with me at the store, put in a better one for about the same money."
Carol, Mesa
Tell me what's broken and roughly where you are. I check messages between jobs and get back the same day, usually within a couple hours.
A photo helps if you have one; you can text it after we talk. And if it's urgent, skip the form:
I'll call you back today, usually within a couple hours. If you don't hear from me by end of day, something went sideways; call me at (480) 555-0164.
